The Meldpunt Discriminatie Regio Amsterdam has been explicitly registering this form of discrimination since 2017 and conducted research on these reports received over the years 2017, 2018 and 2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Three main points emerge from the reports. First, the reports show that anti-black racism is both an everyday and an institutional problem in the Amsterdam region that affects all facets of society: from the labor market and education to the media and public opinion. Following that, reports indicate that agencies, such as schools and businesses, do not adequately combat anti-black racism when reporters raise racist incidents internally. Indeed, racism is widely denied or minimized by agencies, perpetuating and reproducing structural inequality.
